New WKN K1 world title fight on Supremacy League V

New WKN K1 world title fight on Supremacy League V

Due to Tofan Pirani having injured himself during practice the world title bout between Pirani and Skvor has been cancelled. Instead it will be replaced with a tremendous new title bout between the Swedish celebrity star Hamza Bougamza and the Hungarian K-1 star Tamas Birics. The two champions will battle it out for the WKN Super Featherweight K1 World title on Supremacy League V on Saturday night.

Bougamza comes to Gotland with 37 wins in 41 fights. He is the reigning and four-fold Swedish muaythai champion, the Nordic champion, Scandinavian pro champion and has two IFMA world championship bronze medals and one IFMA European championship silver medal. Birics will enter the ring with 35 wins in no less than 58 fights, so in spite of a couple of fewer wins, he has almost twice the experience over Bougamza. Birics is three-times Hungarian champion, former WFMC European pro champion and has fought in many big promotions. These two will meet with one as the older, more experienced fighter and one as the young, talented fighter with an almost clean record. These are the type of fights we just love, because they come so unpredictable.

Whatever you do, don’t miss the HD live stream on Supremacy TV for just €4,99. The broadcast starts on Saturday 11 July at 18.00 CEST. See the full fight card and all dates and times on the Supremacy League V page.
